Slavery

January 14, 1492

I have figured out a punishment for these men. They should know better than to not listen to me.

I am forcing 1 500 men, women and children from the village of Moga and Kiloma to come aboard our ships with me and bring them to Spain. What kind of land is this? THERE IS NO GOLD! Why did I even come here? I have to please the King and the Queen and all the people who supported this voyage. They were expecting gold? So this is what I am going to do.

I still want to impress Spain. So I still have to bring something back. They will work as Slaves in Europe. Mostly Spain and Portugal, as slaves. Most likely for the rest of their lives.

There all already aboard the ships and we are now heading back to Europe, so there’s no going back now.

  1. Dear C.

I don’t even know what to say, the only thing that I can say is…why are you doing this?

  2. To Christopher.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?????? You don’t have a problem with ruining a thounsand peoples lives, tearing them apart. I can see that you don’t. I can see that you like separating families and making people suffer for the rest of their lives. I can see you like to murder as many people as you can to get what you want. I can see. But one day this is gonna come back and get you. You are going to lose everything one day and then…then you will have NO ONE to talk to, to support you.

  3. I’m not ruining families don’t worry. Your families can come on the ship whenever. EVERYONE is welcome. Maybe if you had a little more gold in your village I wouldn’t h ave to slave you all.
Maybe your mom can cook us a nice supper on the ship Jaci. Oh and Doli, you’ve mentioned you’re mom was a good cook.
